Butter

She’s smooth like Butter! This little 4 month old (Nov 2024) Tabico loves other cats and has done great with large and small dogs in her foster home. Butter started out on the streets but has decided a cozy life indoors is the best for her. Butter loves to play and she also loves her cuddle time. She would do okay as a solo pet as long has her family can provide a lot of attention. Ideally, she would have a feline playmate.

Jam

Jam is about 5 months old (Nov 2024) and loves other cats. She is also comfortable around small and large dogs. Jam is still learning to trust people so she will need a home that’s willing to give her the time she needs to fully gain that trust. She’s made amazing progress in her foster home! She would do okay as a solo pet as long as her family can give her the time and attention she needs and the patience to blossom at her own pace.

Hawaiian Kittens - Haupia

Haupia is a spunky kitten. He likes to be held and sleep in the sun. He is calm and loving. Haupia is full of energy at play time. He will run and tenaciously go after the feather wand or the ball. He needs to be brushed every day but is more than ok with this as he plops right down on your lap and happily lifts his head up. Haupia is shy around new people but once he knows you he is completely at ease. Haupia is looking for an engaging and attentive family who will always be there to play and snuggle with him. He would love a friendly kitty in his home, maybe his brother Poi! Put in an application to adopt Haupia today!

Hawaiian Kittens - Poi

Poi is an energetic kitten. He likes to curl up in a warm sunny window nook or cushy blanket to sleep. Playtime is his absolute favorite. Poi will stop anything he is doing run at full speed when you reach for a toy. His favorite toy is the wand with faux mouse attachment and the laser pointer. It is difficult to get Poi to sit still for his required daily hair brushing time because he would rather be playing. Poi is shy at first but once he gets to know you, or you take out a toy, he will be your best friend. Poi is looking for a fun and attentive family who will always be there to play with him. He would love a friendly kitty in his home, maybe his brother Haupia! Put in an application to adopt Poi today!

Gidget (and Gadget)

Twin win! These two energetic and acrobatic kittens may be small, but they don’t know it with their ginormous leaps, huge tackles, feisty play, and zoomies.  Born and rescued from a window well, this brother and sister pair are now living their best lives. They love their people and do well with kids.  Gadget (boy with more white on his face) is a purrball and will greet you with his loud rumbles, which he will keep even when he goes back to playing and you are nearby.  Gidget (girl) has a sweet gentle purr and a soft meow.  She loves her pets and will roll around or give you lots of bum raises. They will settle into your lap and purr for a moment, but there is usually much to do and will most likely find a way to incorporate you into their play by attacking your knee, darting behind your back or in between your feet. They keep very busy - chasing anything and everything and usually each other.  They especially love charging in tunnels and going up, down, and even upside down on their cat tower!  They are so much fun and will keep you smiling and laughing with their antics.  These twins are inseparable from play time, nap time, grooming time, and meal time.  They even like to drink their water side by side even though they now have to squish their heads together to both fit in there. More recently they have become very curious about the home outside their kitten room and like to dart out anytime the door is open and explore as far and wide as they can. They are definitely ready for their next adventure and forever home!  Score these adorable babies and win with these twins today!

J-Crew CJ

Introducing one half of the J-Crew Dynamic duo…CJ! CJ is the Chippendale of the litter, and and he is bonded with this little brother JJ. CJ has always looked out for JJ, and they are almost always together. CJ wears a long-hair orange fur body-suit and he’s built like a linebacker. He has broad shoulders and a stout stance, but he’s just a big puffball with a fluffy tail! He loves to play, especially with braided rag toys, fabric “snakes”, and one of his favorite toys is the “cat dancer” that looks like a bug flying around. Don’t be surprised if he goes nuts when a moth flutters on a window at night – he can really jump when trying to snatch something out of the air! He loves petting, and he makes enormous biscuits with his big paws.

Apply to adopt CJ & JJ today!

J-Crew JJ

Part two of the J Street Crew dynamic duo is JJ! JJ is the smallest boy in the J-crew, but he’s dapper as ever wearing his short-hair buff tabby suit. JJ has some scar tissue in his right eye from an infection when he was a baby, but it doesn’t seem to bother him at all. He was a tiny kitten, so big brother CJ took extra care to ensure JJ got his share of food and made sure the bigger boys didn’t play too rough with him. Since then JJ has been eating well and working out so he doesn’t need as much protection, but he and CJ are buddies for life. JJ is very playful and he loves to climb on you or sit in your lap. He has a blast with toys and loves playing with his big brother. CJ and JJ are a great duo that will bring happiness and joy to any home!

Orange Fruit Persimmon

Meet the orange fruits!

Persimmon is a beautiful calico girl. She is sweet and playful. Her favorite toys are a spring she can chase from one end of the room to another and a connecting tunnel where she might ambush her foster buddies. She has become quite the lap cat and loves to take naps with her person. She would be okay as a solo kitty or a companion to Kumquat or Clementine. She has done well though with meeting new people.

Orange Fruit Kumquat

Kumquat is a male orange tabby either white. He is sweet and curious. He loves sitting on the back of the couch and snorfling in one’s ear. He is very playful and loves chasing springs and balls across the room. He has lots of energy and needs to go home with another sibling or to a home with another young kitty. He loves his sisters Clementine and Persimmon and would be a great match for them. Kumquat is going to be a big cat and his floofy tail can sub in for your Swiffer if needed!

Orange Fruit Clementine

Clementine is a female all orange tabby. Fun fact, only 20% of orange tabbies are female. Clementine is very playful and must go home with a sibling or to a home with another young kitty. She is good buddies with Kumquat and Persimmon. She is more reserved than her brigade members and will need a minute to adapt. She has done well though with meeting new people. Her favorite toy is a pink and orange caterpillar toy that she carries around in her mouth. She loves her canned food and will sing her song if you are late getting home

Angus & Asher - Our adoption fee is sponsored!

Say "Hello!" to Angus and Asher. These gorgeous boys were part of a large colony that LCCC trapped, neutered and returned. Angus and Asher were special in many ways: they were young, sweet, and in need of medical attention. Once the cousins were healthy, their personalities blossomed, and it became clear that they were bonded. Angus is a big ole, cuddly, luvbug that occasionally gets himself so comfortable he'll roll off of your lap, or off of the couch. He's super soft and just loves to be petted.

Angus also loves to eat!! Angus is a member of the "clean plate club" and ensures that no bowl of food goes to waste. We affectionately call him "Meatloaf" due to his size and shape, and he often lays with his paws tucked in tightly, resembling a big ol' loaf!

Asher is a very sweet but shy and cautious cat (hide and seek is his favorite game). He adores Angus and very much wants to be within sight of him. When it's meal time Asher will lie next to the food bowls as soon as he hears a can open. It's the best time to give him kitty lovin', and his fosters often pick him up and hold him while he's waiting for supper. There are two other sure things that get Asher's attention each and every time - a Churu treat and The Cat Dancer toy.

Asher and the "cat dancer" have some amazing moves worthy of viral video status on YouTube. Both Asher and Angus will drop everything they're doing to play with their toy!! (*a Cat Dancer toy will be provided with Angus and Asher)

These two beautiful, bonded boys are guaranteed to fill your heart with love and laughter. Their foster family believes they will flourish in a single person home, with a couple, or a family with older children. They also get along well with other cats.

As kittens they had a rough start to life so they are shy at first, but once they get to know you they are super friendly and loving pets. Angus has eyes that will touch your heart every time he gazes up at you. A patient adoptive family will be rewarded with total devotion from Angus and Asher, they are awesome kitties!

The adoption fee for Angus and Asher is being donated by their foster mom in honor of her beloved Godmother who recently passed. She was a cat lover and would have wanted these boys to have a wonderful, indoor life after their rocky start outdoors.

Brandi

Brandi is a stunning girl looking for her person! She would like to be the only kitty in the house, a pampered princess and is such a sweetheart. She loves to “help” and be a vigilant coworker making sure you have all your paperwork in order. She is also very playful and her favorite toy is the catnip banana! We think her ideal home is adult only/older kids. She does get along with other cats! We found that she is best with less dominant cats so no alphas to compete with. She is a true gem that will make someone an incredible companion!

Sammy

Sammy is a super friendly boy, despite having a rough start in life. He spent most of his kittenhood hiding under cars and using storm drains and the sewer system to navigate under busy streets as he roamed the neighborhood looking for food. He found enough to survive, but he weighed just over 4 lbs at around 7 months old! Sammy was trapped as part of our TNR efforts in the area, and it didn’t take long for our volunteers to see that he wasn’t thriving there. While Sammy was recovering from surgery it became clear that he would be a great pet, and he was put into a foster home to get the kitty-lovin’ that he so desperately needed.

Sammy loves to play, and he loves being touched and petted. He’ll head-butt into your hand and stand on his hind legs to reach you! He wants to be around you all the time, but he will also occupy himself by playing with toys when he’s alone. He’s really smart too! He knows his name, he can almost open lever-handled doors (give him another week and we think he’ll have it figured out), and he knows his name and comes when he’s called.

Sammy is a beautiful, almost all-black cat. He has a cute white spot on the front of his neck, and everything else is black – his fur, paw pads, lips, and nose. He can almost disappear in a dark room!

If you are looking for a happy, playful, loving companion cat who is almost a year old then please fill out an adoption application for Sammy! He’ll make you very happy, and he’ll be happy to be rescued!

Sundance (special needs) - Adoption Pending!

Sundance is an amazing kitty! He came from a colony that we had been helping with community cats on a small farm. He does have some mobility issues as a result of a congenital condition but is not CH. He has a tendency to fall over sometimes and is a bit uncoordinated. He can do stairs, cat trees, play, has no trouble using a litter box or eating on his own. His favorite toy are plastic springs! He loves other cats and tries to coax them to play with him. He has lived with small dogs but generally keeps away from them. He loves ear scratches, doesn’t mind being held, and is just a hunk of orange love. Can you open your heart to this wobbly boy?

Carnival Ride Kittens - Zipper - Adoption Pending!

Meet Zipper! He is the big strong brother to three sisters! This sweet boy is smart and loves to explore. He also loves dogs! He wants to be where you are and is up for anything. He is so playful and loves to wrestle his sisters. He would do best in a home with another young cat.

How it Works

We Got Adopted!

Dip & Dot - I GOT ADOPTED!

Meet Dip & Dot! These sweet sisters make the perfect pair! They love to play and cuddle and are absolutely adorable doing both. Dip looks like she had her toes dipped in white paint and Dot has cute little freckles (plus beautiful blue eyes - like pale blue dots for any Carl Sagan fans). These girls love their kitty massages (and their intense purring really soothes the soul) and they even enjoy belly rubs. Dip especially loves playtime catching her prey (aka her toys) and running around with them in her mouth. In the morning, you can find them snuggled up in their bed together. Dip & Dot have been eating Purina Liveclear which helps reduce the level of allergens they produce.

J-Crew DJ - I GOT ADOPTED!

Last but certainly not least we have DJ! He’s wrapped in naturally striped short-hair buff tabby fur, and he really wears it well! DJ has some scar tissue in his left eye from an infection when he was a baby, but it doesn’t seem to bother him at all. He’s both handsome and smart – a real standout in the feline fashion world. He learned to open a pocket door within a week or so, and he’s really good at finding hidden toys and treats. When he isn’t in the spotlight showing off by walking around on his hind legs to grab a toy or push his head into your hand, he’ll be lying next to you, gracing you with his presence. He’s a looker and he knows it!

Germany Kittens - Spargel & Brezn - I GOT ADOPTED!

Spargel and Brezn are handsome guys. They are brothers whose personalities are as different as their hair lengths. Spargel (fluffy) is a snuggly little guy who definitely has main character syndrome. He likes to be the only kitten being petted, eating in the bowl, or playing with a toy. He even does funny little growls to assert his rights. He takes a little bit to warm up, but once he does he purrs when he sees his person, he behaves nicely for getting meds or getting his nails clipped, and lets you kiss his pink belly. Brezn (not fluffy) is reserved and serious. He wants to be around, but doesn't really enjoy being petted or held, although he will allow it. He enjoys playing with toys, but can be left out a little since he isn't as assertive as Kaffee or Spargel. He is still growing in confidence and each day seems to enjoy human interaction more and more. The sky is the limit for him, but an adopter should be understanding of his pace and meet him where he is socially. Spargel will be happy to accept all the love and more until Brezn gets a little further along in his social journey. These little guys enjoy Kaffee's company, but they should be adopted as a pair with each other. They get upset if separated even for a few minutes, and their personalities complement each other well. Brezn watches Spargel to make sure things are ok.

Hawaiian Kittens - Sesame - I GOT ADOPTED!

Sesame is a sweet and friendly kitten. He greets everyone at the door and takes equal advantage of anyone wanting to pet him. Pets are his favorite activity. He especially loves being pet behind the ears. When it is play time the toys Sesame like best are the laser pointer and the feather wand. Sesame will happily sit in your lap or curl up next to you. When you hold him he purrs extra loud. Sesame is looking for a family as attentive and loving as he is. A family who will always be there to pet him and play with him. He would love a friendly kitty in his home. Put in an application to adopt Sesame today!

Carnival Ride Kittens - I GOT ADOPTED!

Meet Teacup! Teacup is a sweet, laid back companion. She loves dogs and her kitty siblings too. She loves to play with string toys and also to lay by your side while you read. She is a gentle little girl. She would do best in a home with another young cat.

Carnival Ride Kittens - Carousel - I GOT ADOPTED!

Meet Carousel! Her little nickname is “CC”. She wants to be wherever you are. She is a perfect reading companion, loves dogs and her kitten siblings. She would do best in a home with another young cat.

Bonnie & Clyde - Adoption Pending!

Known for our robberies of Inaba Churu stashes, me and my brother Clyde are looking for the perfect quiet home for someone to love us and let us get comfortable since we have been hiding from the authorities for some time. I am very sweet and a little shy. I love my brother and can’t wait to be able to continue our exploits. Fun fact…we have the same white mark on opposite front paws!

Clyde & Bonnie - Adoption Pending!

Known for our robberies of Inaba Churu stashes, me and my sister Bonnie are looking for the perfect quiet home for someone to love us and let us get comfortable since we have been hiding from the authorities for some time. I am very sweet and playing is my jam. My foster mom says I have a purr unlike anything she has ever heard. I love my sister and can’t wait to be able to continue our exploits. Cheddar Bell - Adoption Pending!

Formerly known as Cheddar Bob…until neuter day became a spay day! Oops!

Cheddar is a fun and energetic kitty, She can play independently to keep herself entertained but she loves playing with another cat as her most favorite pastime. She can be shy meeting new people so her new family will need to let her go at her own pace. She is affectionate and loves hugs and kisses. While not a lap cat per se, she loves hanging on the couch next to you for a Netflix binge. Cheddar is also a big bed hog! She is known to set up up camp right on her person’s chest. She has a loud purr and loves spending the morning chirping at the birds. She has excellent litterbox manners and uses her scratching posts. She has made good friends with the younger cats in her foster home so we know she needs a feline playmate around her same age. Recently a dog came to stay at her home and she mostly ignores him. So she may do fine with a home with a dog. Her estimated DOB is April 2023. Let’s find this beautiful girl a home!

Carnival Ride Kittens - Tilt-A-Whirl - I GOT ADOPTED!

Meet “Tilty”! Tilty is a sweet and curious girl! She is a petite tabby, more of a Torbie with her streaks of orange/red through her fur. It’s quite stunning. She loves dogs and playing with her kitty siblings. She would do best in a home with another young cat.

J-Crew BJ - I GOT ADOPTED!

Next up from the J-Crew is BJ, sporting a plush medium-hair buff tabby onesie. His fur is so soft it’s like petting a cloud! Speaking of clouds, if BJ had his way he’d climb all the way up to them - he is the king of the cat tree. He likes to walk right up your belly to sit on your shoulder and snuggle, and he will lie by your side or sit in your lap as often as he can. He loves to play and always appreciates a new toy, whether it’s a bouncy ping-pong ball, a braided rag toy, or a stuffed animal to hug and bunny-kick. He’s a rough and tumble kind of guy who would probably be a pro hockey player if he didn’t love being a kitty super-model so much!

Apply to adopt BJ today!

Squeaker - I GOT ADOPTED!

Squeaker is one of the purriest kittens! He is very playful and love pop up tents. There is always a good chase and hide-and-seek fun with a tent. He is curious and full of energy as well as cuddles. He loves to eat, walk all over you and get petted, and play with feather toys, laser lights, ball toys, and tents.

Squeaker likes to observe but is then but quite the explorer and is so friendly! He gets along great with the resident cats in his foster home. We think he would like a furry friend if possible! He absolutely loves humans and loves to play. Named because he will communicate how he feels about things (when being tackled by siblings, in a new situation like car rides, etc). LOVES: water (drinking it, and has had a bath without complaints), ball toys, laser lights. He likes gives head butts of love (to your hand, cheek).

April Fool’s Kitten - Frolic (male) - I GOT ADOPTED!

Frolic here! I was born on April 1st. April Fools! No, really, I actually was. I am really friendly and I like to greet people as they enter the room.

Frolic is a beautiful black and white Holstein cow patterned boy!  He has such soft, shiny fur and golden eyes.  And, what a love!  Fro has proved he is quite adaptable to new situations.  He is comfortable with three adult cats, two medium-sized dogs (50 lbs. and 30 lbs.), and another foster kitten.  He willingly jumps up on his foster mom’s lap and snuggles in a blanket that she is crocheted.  Fro has taken to making biscuits and “nursing” on the blanket.  One of his sweet quirks!  He loves to explore the house, play with feather wands, and interactive/electronic cat toys.  Fro and his brother, Shenanigans, follow each other around the house and play wrestle.  They would be a wonderful match together, but not a necessary requirement.

Sweet Tart - I GOT ADOPTED!

Sweet Tart is nothing but sweetness!  This adorable little guy came to us from a colony all by himself. He is good buddies with Leif and he would like a kitty companion in his future home. He gets along well with dogs! He has lived with a Dachshund, Great Dane, Whippet, Greyhound, and a few mixed breed dogs big and small! He is a snugglebug and loves being with his hoomins. He is super playful and even a bit mischievous which is why we love him so much! He is very brave and adapts quickly to new environments and people.

Shenanigans here! I was born on April 1st. April Fools! No, really, I actually was! I am a handsome, medium-length hair boy.

He has beautiful fluffy black fur, with four white feet, a white vest and belly, gray under-fur, and beautiful green eyes.  Shenan adapted very quickly to his new foster home.  He can be picked up, held on his back, and loved on.  He will jump on his foster mom’s chair, give head butts, and look for pets.  He is very inquisitive and checks out all the nooks and crannies in the house.  He’s also quite the talker – he makes his presence known!  Both Shenan and Fro will play hard in the morning, sleep the afternoon away, and then enjoy a second play time in the evening.  These sweet boys will make lovely family members.

Orange Fruit Papaya - I GOT ADOPTED!

Meet the orange fruits! This gang of orange, white and black came to us from a cat colony in an area that became unsafe for them. Luckily LC3 was able to help this colony by getting the adults fixed and move the kittens to foster homes.

Papaya is a dark tortie girl who is all kitty cat. Playing is definitely her jam and she would play all day long if she didn’t need catnaps. She will sit by you and enjoys to be petted. Being held or carried around is still a little concerning for her but she has been warming up to cuddles. She is good buddies with Persimmon whom we think is her sister. She does get along with everyone though and would be best in a home with a sibling or another young cat.

Germany Kittens - Kaffee - I GOT ADOPTED!

Kaffee is a bold little kitten who comes in like a jolt of caffeine. Her coat has some dark brown and smoke - it will be interesting to see if she retains that coloring or grows into a sleek black kitty. Her foster brothers often just watch her for entertainment. She's very busy and engaging. She loves to be petted and held, but for brief periods of time because she has places to be, and then again two seconds later, and then again, and yeah, again. She just has a pretty short attention span, and a large to-do list, and needs to check things out all the time. She loves to interfere with her person while they scoop the litter box, and she LOVES to sit behind a person's head and groom their hair. She will likely make herself comfortable quickly in any situation, as she's a great combination of social and independent, and could be adopted alone, in a pair, or to a house with another friendly cat or two. She hasn't met a dog, but she could probably handle it just fine. Her foster home has an excitable dog she will be practicing meeting soon.

J-Crew AJ - I got adopted!

AJ is first up! He’s wearing a full-length domestic medium hair orange tabby coat, and he’s so handsome! Off the stage, AJ is outgoing, playful, and he’s the ambassador of the J-crew. He’s the first kitten to greet you when you walk into the room, and he loves to snuggle! When he’s not chasing a toy, batting a ball, or playing with his siblings, he makes biscuits better than the Pillsbury dough boy!

Momo - I GOT ADOPTED!

Momo came to us with three kittens in tow. She raised her littles and they all got adopted. While in our care, her foster realized that she is a friendly kitty, just shy. She loves to be petted and once comfortable, she is very sweet and affectionate. She lives with small dogs but avoids them. She gets along great with other cats. Her ideal home would be a quiet one, with another cat, and a patient human family to let her go at her own pace. Let’s find this sweet girl a home!
